The Under 13's Colts are in their second Season as a team having only been formed for Season 2004/2005 mainly from players from the former Youth Clubs of Predators and Fetcham Park United. The need for a second team at this Age Group was apparent due to the large number of players wanting to join Predators FC and in their first Season together the team entered the Epsom & Ewell Premier League. Last Season was a resounding success for the whole Under 12 Age Group - The West Surrey Youth side won their Premier League, League Cup and the County Cup. The Epsom & Ewell team won their Premier League and League Cup and were knocked out of the County Cup in the Preliminary Round by the other Predators team who were the eventual winners. However, even then the Colts team could take credit from the fact that the winners of the County Cup only conceded two goals in their whole Cup run - both to this team. The "Double" success of the League and Cup was however a fantastic achievement for a team which was formed that very season and the highlight was the fact that the League was won by winning 15 out of 16 games and despite a draw and replay in the Cup Final, the Final match of the Season meant the team played a total of 21 games winning 19 drawing one and losing just once. To build on this success the Colts have retained all but one player from last Season (an Under 12 who will play for our new team at that Age Group this Season) and have added a further 4 players to strengthen the Squad. However, it will be a much harder test this year as the Colts have now joined the West Surrey Youth League and will play in the Premier South Division with a minimum of 24 league and cup games. However, even a small amount of cup success will mean that it will soon be not less then 26 or 28 games for the Season.
